This free-to-play MMORPG takes you to a magical world that is filled with intense duels and featuring an expansive landscape in a sequel to the online game Dofus...
Wakfu is a client-based, free-to-play game that has its roots in the original Dofus game. It is an MMORPG that will take you to an island world that is lush and full of life. Take on other players in PvP or PvE in turn-based battles while trying to save the environment at the same time.
Everything that you do in Wakfu can have an impact on the fragile ecosystem that surrounds you. Killing a particular monster may cause the extinction of an entire species. Exploiting precious materials can cause the resource to vanish from the island entirely. You must find a balance between survival and excess. You must not only protect your environment but help foster its growth as well by planting new flora.
In Wakfu, you can choose to start your journey as one of twelve different characters including a citizen, politician, hunter, craftsman, shopkeeper, militiaman, magician and more. Choose the character that fits you the best and then customize it exactly how you want it to look – right down to the hair color. Each character has a specific set of statistics and abilities that are based upon the element you represent. For example, strength, agility, intelligence, chance, wisdom and vitality are all factors that go into your character. Of course, you can improve these statistics as you progress throughout the game.
In addition to the many features already mentioned, Wakfu has many more that create an interactive online community. In particular is the Wakfu cross-media feature – it brings you into the world of the Wakfu television series, webisodes and trading card games. Get ready to test your strategies, skills and character in this free-to-play MMORPG.
